  • In addition to physical products, The Hike & Co. offers guided hiking and camping trips. By purchasing a trip or event, you agree to comply with all safety guidelines and instructions provided by The Hike & Co.
  • For certain camps or post-trip gatherings, The Hike & Co. provides snacks and sometimes meals as part of the experience. Dietary restrictions must be communicated in advance, and we are not liable for any allergic reactions or food-related issues unless informed beforehand.
  • The purchase of products or participation in our hikes, camping trips, or events is contingent on acceptance of these terms and conditions.

2. Payments

• Payments must be made in full at the time of purchase. We accept online payment as valid payment options.
• If any payment is declined, your order or booking will not be processed.

3. Participation in Hikes and Outdoor Activities

• By participating in any hike or outdoor activity organized by The Hike & Co., you acknowledge that such activities carry inherent risks, including, but not limited to, personal injury or death. You agree that you are physically fit to participate in such activities, and you take part at your own risk. 4. Safety and Disclaimer

• The Hike & Co. provides certified first-aid responders during hikes, but we strongly advise participants to have personal medical insurance coverage.
• All participants are responsible for their own safety and well-being during any of our events.
• It is essential to wear appropriate hiking gear, bring sufficient water, and be adequately prepared for the environment.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

• For Products: 
• • We accept returns on unused products in their original packaging within 14 days of purchase. The cost of return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.
• For Hiking and Camping Trips:
  • Cancellation by Participant: You may cancel your participation in a hiking or camping trip up to 48 hours before the scheduled trip for a credit equal to the amount paid, to be used towards a future trip with The Hike & Co.. Cancellations made within 48 hours before the trip will not be eligible for a credit.
• • Rescheduling: Participants who wish to reschedule must notify us at least 48 hours in advance. Rescheduling is subject to availability and may incur a rebooking fee.
  • Cancellation by The Hike & Co.: In the event of adverse weather conditions, safety concerns, or insufficient participant numbers, The Hike & Co. reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the trip. If a trip is canceled by The Hike & Co., participants will receive a credit equal to the amount paid, which can be used towards a future trip.
  • No-shows: Participants who fail to attend the hike or camping trip without prior notification will not be eligible for a credit or rescheduling.

6. Risk and Liability

• The Hike & Co. is not responsible for any loss or damage to personal property during hikes or events.
• We are not liable for any physical injuries or accidents that occur during hikes, outdoor activities, or the use of our products.
• By purchasing a hiking or camping trip, you automatically acknowledge and accept the risks associated with such activities as outlined in our waiver.

7. Insurance

• While we provide basic insurance coverage for our guided hikes, participants are encouraged to have personal health or travel insurance, particularly if engaging in more challenging activities.

9. Privacy Policy

• The personal information you provide when placing an order or registering for events will be used solely for processing orders, managing your participation in our hikes and camping trips, and enhancing your experience with The Hike & Co.
• As part of our trip coordination, participants will be added to a WhatsApp group for each event. This group is used to share trip details, updates, photos, and other relevant information. The WhatsApp group will be deleted after the completion of each trip, ensuring that your contact information is not retained beyond the event.
• During our hikes and camping trips, The Hike & Co. may take photographs and videos for promotional purposes. These media may be shared on our social media platforms, website, and other marketing materials. By participating in our events, you consent to the use of your image or likeness in such media. If you do not wish to be included in any media, please inform us prior to the event.
• Your personal data will not be shared with third parties without your consent, except where required by law.

10. Changes to Terms

• The Hike & Co. reserves the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time. Continued use of our services after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

11. Governing Law

• These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sharjah Media City (Shams) Free Zone.
