1. Acknowledgment of Risks
By purchasing, registering for, or attending the hiking and trekking activities organized by The Hike & Co. LLC, you acknowledge that you have voluntarily chosen to participate in these activities. You understand that these activities involve inherent risks and uncertainties, including but not limited to the risk of injury, illness, or even death.
The trails and surrounding environments may present unpredictable conditions, obstacles, and hazards that are beyond the control of The Hike & Co. LLC.
2. Assumption of Risks
- You accept all risks associated with hiking and trekking, including but not limited to slips, falls, collisions, encounters with wildlife, adverse weather conditions, and challenging trail conditions.
- You acknowledge that The Hike & Co. LLC cannot control all environmental factors. You are solely responsible for your own safety and well-being during the activities and agree to follow all provided safety guidelines and instructions.
3. Release of Liability
- You release and discharge The Hike & Co. LLC, its employees, guides, agents, and any affiliated parties from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or rights of action, whether personal to you or to a third party, arising out of any injury, illness, or damage resulting from your participation in the hiking activities.
4. Physical Fitness
- You certify that you are physically and medically fit to participate in the hiking activities organized by The Hike & Co. LLC.
- You have disclosed any relevant medical conditions, allergies, or medications that may affect your ability to participate safely, and you understand that failure to do so is at your own risk.
5. Emergency Medical Treatment
- In the event of an emergency, you authorize The Hike & Co. LLC and its representatives to seek medical treatment on your behalf.
- You agree to be financially responsible for any costs incurred for such treatment, including transportation, medical services, and medication.
6. Emergency Contact Information
- You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date emergency contact details before the hike begins.
- You understand that this information may be used in the event of an incident, accident, or medical emergency.
7. Health & Safety Guidelines
- You agree to adhere to all health and safety guidelines provided by The Hike & Co. LLC during the hike. This includes wearing appropriate clothing and footwear, bringing sufficient water and snacks, and being adequately prepared for the terrain and weather.
- You agree to follow all instructions given by the hike leaders and guides, and to act in a way that does not put yourself or others at risk.
8. Photography & Releases
- You grant The Hike & Co. LLC the right to take photographs and/or videos of you during the hiking activities. These images may be used for promotional and marketing purposes and can be published on social media platforms, websites, and other marketing materials.
- If you do not wish to appear in photos or videos, you agree to inform the hike leader before or at the start of the activity.
9. Acknowledgment of Understanding
- By purchasing, registering for, or attending the hiking activities, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to this Safety Disclaimer.
- This acknowledgment constitutes a legally binding agreement between you and The Hike & Co. LLC and should be read together with our Terms & Conditions.
