Continuous ascent on rocky steps and mountain path with some steeper sections. Best for hikers with good basic fitness who are comfortable with climbs, but still accessible for motivated first-timers with breaks.
1. About the Trail

Al Rabi Tower Trail starts from a restored coastal watchtower built as part of Khor Fakkan’s historic defence line and follows a clearly signed path that zigzags up the ridge. Along the way you get layered views of the Gulf of Oman, the Khor Fakkan amphitheatre and corniche, and the rugged Hajar mountains behind you. The trail is popular as a first or early hike because it’s well-marked, feels safe and delivers big coastal views in a relatively short distance.
