Day 1:

We arrive in Kathmandu and take the first flight to Pokhara.
After hotel check-in and a short gear check, the day is free to rest and explore Lakeside.
Overnight in Pokhara.

Day 2:

After breakfast, we drive about 1.5 hours to Nayapul (Kilu).
From here our trek begins as we make our way to Ghandruk, a traditional Gurung village surrounded by terraced fields.
- Distance: ~8 km hrs
- Altitude: 1,940m

Day 3:

We leave Ghandruk behind and follow the trail up and down stone staircases to reach Chhomrong, a village with breathtaking views of Annapurna South and Hiunchuli.
- Distance: ~10 km hrs
- Altitude: 2,170m

Day 4:

From Chhomrong we descend to the river and climb up through bamboo forests, passing through Sinuwa.
The path winds through lush greenery before we reach Bamboo.
- Distance: ~9 km hrs
- Altitude: 2,310m

Day 5:

Our trek takes us deeper into the valley on this day, through dense forests and into higher terrain.
After 5–6 hours of walking, we reach Deurali, where the trees thin out and the mountains feel closer.

- Altitude: 3,200m

Day 6:

A spectacular day ahead as we continue our climb to Annapurna Base Camp (ABC).
The landscape opens dramatically, surrounded by towering Himalayan peaks.
- Distance: ~10 km
- Altitude: 4,130m

Day 7:

We rise before dawn to witness a magical sunrise over the Annapurna range.
After soaking in the views, we begin our long descent back to Bamboo, retracing our steps through alpine and forested trails.
- Distance: ~15 km
- Altitude: 2,310m

Day 8:

We trek down to Jhinu Danda, known for its natural hot springs by the riverside.
After 5–6 hours of walking, we can relax and soak our tired legs in the warm waters.
- Distance: ~10 km
- Altitude: ~1,800m

Day 9:

Our final trek from Jhinu Danda to Siwai takes about 3 hours.
We then drive to Pokhara and catch our afternoon flight to Kathmandu.
In the evening, we explore Thamel and enjoy a farewell celebration dinner.

- Altitude: ~1,500m

Anyone with a moderate level of fitness can join this trek. Whether you’re a seasoned trekker or a first-time adventurer, this trip is designed to be accessible to most. However, a little prior hiking experience or physical preparation is recommended.

2. What is the difficulty level of the trek?

The Annapurna Base Camp trek is classified as moderate. It involves trekking for 5–8 hours a day at varying altitudes, with some steep ascents and descents. A good level of endurance and fitness will enhance your experience.

3. How do I prepare for the trek?

To prepare, engage in regular physical activities like walking, jogging, or stair climbing to build endurance. A pre-trip conditioning consultation is included to help you prepare for the trek.

4. Will altitude sickness be an issue?

Altitude sickness is a possibility when trekking at higher elevations. Our experienced guides are trained to spot symptoms and assist you. The trek is planned to allow gradual acclimatization to reduce the risk.

5. What kind of accommodation is provided?

In Kathmandu and Pokhara: 5-star hotels with breakfast included.
On the trek: Comfortable tea huts with basic amenities.

6. What gear do I need to bring?

Yes, gear shopping consultation is part of the package, and there are plenty of options to rent or buy trekking equipment in Kathmandu or Pokhara.

8. Is travel insurance necessary?

Yes, travel insurance is mandatory. Ensure your policy covers high-altitude trekking, medical emergencies, and evacuation.

9. What is the group size for this trek?

We keep group sizes small (6–10 participants) to ensure a personalized experience and better interaction.

10. What is the weather like during the trek?

In April, the weather in the Annapurna region is generally clear and pleasant, with daytime temperatures ranging from 10°C to 20°C. Nights at higher altitudes can be colder, dropping to around 0°C to -5°C.

11. Will I have access to Wi-Fi or electricity during the trek?

Wi-Fi and charging stations are available at some tea huts, but the service can be unreliable in remote areas. It’s best to enjoy the unplugged experience!

12. How do I tip the guides and porters?

Tipping is customary in Nepal and greatly appreciated. We recommend budgeting $60–$70 as tips for this trip.

13. Can I extend my trip or customize the itinerary?

Yes, you may add additional days at the end of the trip. The additional costs and planning will be your responsibility.
