3. Itinerary – Day by Day
Day 1 – Arrival in Glasgow
Arrival in Glasgow · Meet the group, gear check, and trip briefing · Free time to explore the city and enjoy a relaxed dinner together.
Overnight: Glasgow
Day 2 – Transfer North & Trek Towards Tyndrum
Transfer north to Inverarnan, passing lochs and Highland scenery. We start our trek towards Tyndrum, following rivers and forest trails.
Distance: 19 km   |   Overnight: Tyndrum
Day 3 – Tyndrum to Bridge of Orchy
After breakfast, we continue from Tyndrum to Bridge of Orchy — a shorter day through open moorland with wide views and a relaxed pace.
Distance: 12 km   |   Overnight: Bridge of Orchy
Day 4 – Rannoch Moor to Kingshouse
We trek across the remote landscapes of Rannoch Moor — a wild and scenic day as we make our way to Kingshouse.
Distance: 19 km   |   Overnight: Kingshouse
Day 5 – Devil’s Staircase to Kinlochleven
An early start as we climb the famous Devil’s Staircase. After reaching the highest point of the trail, we descend into Kinlochleven.
Distance: 15 km   |   Overnight: Kinlochleven
Day 6 – Kinlochleven to Fort William
Our final trekking day begins as we head towards Fort William. Forest paths and open trails lead us to the finish, with views of Ben Nevis along the way.
Distance: 24 km   |   Overnight: Fort William
Day 7 – Back to Glasgow
Transfer back to Glasgow. Free time for last-minute exploring, shopping, and a farewell dinner.
Overnight: Glasgow
Day 8 – Departure
Departure day — travel home with tired legs, strong memories, and a very full heart.

1. Who can join this trip?
Anyone with a moderate level of fitness can join. If you can comfortably walk 15–20km in a day, you’ll be absolutely fine. Previous hiking experience is helpful but not mandatory.
2. What is the difficulty level of the trek?
The West Highland Way is classified as moderate. We hike 15–25km per day across mixed terrain including forest paths, rolling hills, rocky sections, and open moorland. Some days are longer, but the elevation gain is manageable.
3. How do I prepare for the trek?
Regular walking, incline treadmill sessions, stair climbing, and weekend hikes are ideal preparation. A pre-trip consultation is included to help you structure your training properly.
4. Will altitude sickness be an issue?
No. The highest point of the trail is approximately 550m above sea level, so altitude sickness is not a concern on this trip.
5. What kind of accommodation is provided?
We stay in carefully selected guesthouses, glamps, and small hotels along the route. Rooms are comfortable and cozy and each 2 in 1 room, and breakfast is included daily. Luggage transfer between accommodations is arranged.
6. What gear do I need to bring?
A detailed packing list will be shared after registration. Waterproof layers are essential due to Scotland’s changing weather. Proper hiking shoes and a good layering system are key.
7. Can I rent or buy gear in Scotland?
Gear is available to buy in Scotland, but we recommend preparing your equipment before arrival. We will guide you on all essentials beforehand.

Yes, travel insurance is mandatory. Ensure your policy covers trekking activities and medical emergencies.
