Daymaniyat Islands are one of Oman’s most beautiful marine escapes, located off the coast near Muscat and Al Seeb. The area is known for clear blue water, coral reefs, turtles, colorful marine life, and seasonal whale shark sightings.
Whale Shark Season
July falls within Oman’s whale shark season. Whale sharks are rare, wild and never guaranteed. We will do our best to spot them and swim with them safely if conditions allow — but we may also be unlucky. Turtles, however, are known to be commonly around the Daymaniyat Islands.
